Nice idea but poorly executed. The lcd proctor works in the way of preventing scratches and the possible Puncture, but it often falls off and reduces the quality of the screen and dust can slip between the Protector and the lcd. If you are hiking or plan being very rough on the screen and want to prevent Punctures buy it. But if you just want to prevent scratches buy a Reusable LCD Screen Protector like the iKross 3-Pack Premium Reusable LCD Screen Protector with Lint Cleaning Cloth for iPod touch (Clear)
